The Computer seen an evaluation at the large scale in 1937 when Howard Aiken started to develop a machine that could make calculations involving large numbers. In 1944, Mark I computer was built as an agreement between IBM and Harvard. It was the first programmable digital machine. first programmer for Mark I was John von Neumann, his first Program was installed on 29 March 1944.

Generations of Computer

1st generation of computer: (1946-1959 (vacuum tube invented)
2nd generation of computer: (1959-1965 (transistor invented )
3rd generation of computer: (1965-1971(Integrated circuit invented )
4th generation of computer: (1971-present (microprocessor invented )
5th generation of computer: Scientist are working on Artificial intelligence, to make human like machines, that may have be decision making powers.
