Fore-brain or Cerebrum: Its the largest part of brain, it controls: thinking, feelings, arguing, memory, speech recognition, decision making & face recognition.
Thalamus:It lies inside cerebrum and controls sensory functions.
Hypo-thalamus:It lies at the base of thalamus and controls the body temperature, feeling of hunger and thirst.
Cerebral cortex: Its part of fore-brain, which co-ordinates & connects brain with other body parts: following lobes are part of cerebral cortex.
The frontal lobe: Its responsible for initiating and co-ordinating motor movements.
The Parietal lobe:It helps understanding languages.
The Temporal lobe: It helps to collect information from different senses, and deals with short term memory.
Occipital lobe: Helps im recognition of colors.
