Understanding the PST JEST Recruitment Process in Sindh: What to Expect for New Vacancies

In 2021, the Sindh Education and Literacy Department, under the Sindh government, held tests for PST & JEST roles. About 62,000 candidates were chosen based on their merits, leaving around 25,000 applicants still waiting for their turn.

Here's the deal: A notification from the Sindh government on March 2, 2023, stated that no new recruitment would take place until February 28, 2025. But, if any PST or JEST position opens up due to someone passing away, retiring, or getting promoted, a candidate from the 2021 IBA pass-outs' waiting list will be selected based on their merits.

This means that if you're waiting for a chance in the PST JEST recruitment, new vacancies won't come until after February 2025. However, if any existing positions become available, those from the top of the merit lists will get a shot at these roles.
